I’ve had a new update from Molly’s new mum. “She has come on in leaps and bounds. She is funny and gentle and has so much more confidence. She loves her walks, doesn’t freeze any more and has bonded closely with me. It’s truly amazing the change in her over 2 weeks. She’s also a prima donna, shouts and squeals at any tiny little thing, honestly you would think she’d been kicked if Vito (Molly’s furbrother) is behind her and accidentally nudges her backside!”
So it sounds like she’s doing really well and being a typical grey with regular GSODs!! I love this little lady xx

Brilliant update for Molly xxxx

I’ve heard from Molly’s new mum a couple of times. She had a really good journey to her new home and went straight out for a walk with her new furbrother, following his lead and being a really good girl, meeting a few dogs and even a cat with no problem. She met more of the family today who live nearby and who absolutely love her. They all went for a walk and Molly was a star again. Good girl Molly, keep up the good work :))) xxx

This sweet little girl has been with us for 5 days. She settled really quickly, getting on with our 3 with no problem. She was a bit nervous to start with but has got more confident with each day. She is clean in the house, sleeps downstairs with no problem, and is happy to wait for her meals for whatever time we give them (there’s always some flexibility depending on what we’re doing). She gets very excited to see us in the mornings and if we’ve been out - when I get back from work, even though Paul’s been at home with her, she is sooooo excited to see me! And the same at walk time! She actually gets too excited with jumping up and can nibble too but she settles down if I turn round or look away and ignore her until she calms down. She has also started to play, with lots of bowing and then fast running with her bum tucked in and she even did one fast turn today in the lounge - none of ours have ever done this so we were as excited as her! She is as good as gold on walks. Likes to be at the front but there are no issues if one of the others is in front of her. She has met a few dogs of different sizes and has shown a bit of interest but generally isn’t bothered. She was very keen on a cat that dashed out from under a nearby car one day so I would say isn’t currently cat friendly but may be trainable. We think she will be easy to train generally as she wants to please and responds to treats. She is such a lovely girl and I so hope she finds her forever sofa soon, preferably with another dog as she needs the company. Fingers crossed for you sweet Molly xxx

Molly was much brighter today, she had a very waggy tail when we arrived this morning and was happy to come out of her kennel for her breaksfast. She got very excited and her teeth started to chatter! She is a delightful young lady. She has gone home with Ruth tonight. Xxx

Lovely little Molly went out for morning and afternoon walks today. She quite happily trotted off with Diane this morning. She is very timid but very affectionate. She has the most beautiful eyes. Xxx

Another change of plan! Molly stayed at Daybreaks as she was settled in her kennel this afternoon. Denise took Raven home instead as she was quite stressed and in need of some extra tlc. Xxx

Change of plan! I twisted Denise's arm to take her home until Wednesday so she will have one on one TLC and will get to meet some cats! See you Wednesday little one - you are adorable x

It was so lovely to meet this adorable little girl today, she was a delight and enjoyed a big fuss. I think that given time she will be a very loving pet. Massive cuddles gorgeous. Xxx

Oh my goodness - my heart broke for this little girl this morning. On opening up she looked so sad and nervous.... so I took her into the sand run with Tiggy and Momma. She was a bit overwhelmed to start with but gradually the tail touching her tum came down slightly. She had some treats in the office and then Sue and Yvonne tempted her to eat her breakfast. Suffice to say the little lass is going to come home with me tonight for a bit of extra TLC. We will get rid of those nervous bones and find the happy tail in her x

So sad things didn't work out for her this time. As LM mentioned she did go on a walk this afternoon on a harness and managed a reasonable walk. We will work with her and boost her confidence and address any issues she may have. She is a lovely girl, don't think she will be around for long. X

Oh Miss Molly - so sad things haven't worked out for you. Let's see if we can give you a bit more confidence to face the outside world & hopefully you will learn to enjoy a walk and not be scared. Have a big cuddle tonight poppet. xxx

I've just walked Molly down the lane on a harness. She happily walked with the others down the lane. She did decide that she'd had enough about half way. I tried to encourage her to carry on with a treat but she didn't want to. I turned back and she walked happily. She's a bit reluctant to go back in her kennel which is understandable. Hopefully she'll get her forever home soon. She's a sweetheart.

Oh Molly, I am so sad that you have been returned, but don't worry sweetheart, our first Grey Bridget wasn't bothered about going on walks, sometimes she didnt venture out for a week but she was quite happy in the garden, she enjoyed her walks once we got her a brother greyhound called Reggie, maybe you just need some doggie company to give you the confidence you need to want to go out for a walk, you will be fine Molly Moo, don't worry xxxxxxxx

Sadly Molly has been returned today. She has been very reluctant to go out on walks and the family feel that it is her best interests to come back to kennels. She has been good in the house.
