Kiara has started to roach!! And she is so much more confident now :)))

It was lovely to meet Kiara at the kennels when she came for a visit recently. She is a super girl. So nice to hear she is growing in confidence and playing with toys. :)) Xxx

Kiara is so much more confident in the house. She has been playing with toys for a week or so but today has been throwing the new toy I bought her into the air then chasing after it. Lovely to see :) Although she is very protective of the toys and growls at any of our lot who go near her, Momma (who is staying with us at the moment), takes no notice of her and does what she wants - she’s obviously so used to dealing with Tigs!

This lovely girl is steadily getting braver. She now gets up to have a look when we come home or when we get up in the morning, and after a while will come over for fuss. She decided this morning that she wanted to eat her breakfast in the utility with the others which was great. And she’s wanting more fuss in the day so comes over and stands next to one of us then moves backwards and forwards between us so she can get continuous fussing. She loves her treats and reeeaally loves cheese! Xx

Kiara is a little more relaxed tonight than she was last night. She had a good walk with our 3 and was looking around at what was happening and I think in the long run, being inquisitive will overcome her nerves. She learned how to jump into the car by watching our girls and is happy to take treats from our hands now rather than having to leave them beside her. One step at a time for this little sweetie xx

Kiara arrived today. We gave her a bath but she was clearly very nervous so we put her in her kennel and wrapped her up in blankets - you could just see her head peeping out resting on a teddy. So sweet. We decided to feed her in her kennel so as not to distress her further and she ate it up. As she's clearly so nervous about her new environment she's gone out to foster where there are 3 other greyhounds to give her confidence.
