Leo came to see us yesterday! Wow, what a different lad he is to the one who left the kennels. He has put weight on and is so relaxed and happy in himself. I didn't recognise him! He obviously adores his family and they him. The best bit was watching him go home in the back of their mini...he is so big, but loves it! Lots of love to you all. Xxx

I just adore this boy, if I could have him I absolutely would but my circumstances just aren't right. I always rush to walk this boy whenever I'm in, mainly because of the amount of love and excitement I get from him as soon as I enter his kennel! He loves his walks and it's so clear to see as he bounces around and his tail wags furiously! He's so affectionate when you bring him back too, I've stolen many cuddles with him. He does need someone firm and to set boundaries, he needs someone able to implement a simple but solid routine and STICK to it, someone who can help him with his separation anxiety, who has the time and patience to help him make the transition from a kennel dog to a home dog. Please give him consideration if you can offer those things, he's going to be such a wonderful pet for someone. xx

Leo is a smashing boy. He walks well on the lead, loves cuddles, is very good when being groomed and doesn't mind having his pearly white teeth cleaned. Hes going to make a lovely addition to some lucky persons family. Cuddles for him tonight xx

I totally agree with Shanishoo, Leo is a fantastic boy, walks beautifully on the lead, loves cuddles, he had been a little unsure of other breeds, but he has had a glowing report when taken to the park and seeing other dogs. He really needs a forever home, he is sadly not cat friendly, not his fault, he was trained to chase small fluffy things as they all are. He is a super lad who will give so much love and joy to the right home. Come on...give us a call and pay him a visit, you certainly won't regret it. Even though the kennels are lovely he is starting to get fed up.
He is a beautiful boy and really deserves to be given the chance of a loving forever home. His previous foster homes have given him glowing reports.

Leo just loves people. We had a lovely game around the paddling pool. He really wanted to get the soft toy but didnt want to get his feet wet!

We took the lovely Leo to Elmdon Park today. He was such a good boy and not phased by the other dogs we saw - including a small poodle type dog who he got close to with no problem. He just stood and watched a remote control car without any reaction. He is very interested in the world around him and loves to explore. He walked very well. He'll make the right owner(s) a fantastic pet.

Sadly you have been in and out of the kennels which is unsettling for you - but we have learnt so much about you and your needs. You are a big, friendly soul who would love a home with someone around most of the time - and the chance for great walks & explorations.

Sadly Leo has become something of a "boomerang " foster boy and as yet has not found the home that will suit his needs.
However I have to say that after enjoying his company in Elmdon park this morning there are definitely no issues whatsoever with him while he is out and about.
He travelled perfectly in the car, walked sensibly on the lead and showed no interest in the many shapes and sizes of other breeds that we passed.
He obviously loves human companionship and it could be that a home where he has regular company and lots of trips outdoors will suit him well.
Hopefully that home is not far away for this lovely lively lad

I’m so sad we had to return him but unfortunately he just didn’t like my youngest and we couldn’t take that risk

He is a lovely affectionate boy and his issues could easily be worked on by someone who’s sighthound savvy and got the time to put the work in with him ! He really will make a perfect companion I really hope he finds his forever home very soon he deserves it so much he really does

Roo has settled in amazing it’s like he’s never not been here I will post some photos in the daybreaks chat group page

I’ve also stumbled across Roo’s breeder and she’s sent me lots of puppy photos of him (he was just as cute as a pup)

Leo was very happy to see us when we opened up this morning. He got my gold star for a nice clean kennel, and for finishing all his breakfast!

This gorgeous boy has some issues with separation anxiety, he does love human company & gives the best kisses and cuddles, but he must learn that it is safe and ok to spend a little time on his own now and again - we can work on this with him and hopefully get him into the forever home he is so deserving of. He gets my cuddle today. xx

Leo came back from vets yesterday after being neutered, he was a bit dazed yesterday but getting back to his old self today and stuffing his face again!

Nice to hear that Leo is well. Sometimes it takes a while for these beautiful dogs to learn how to play. It is lovely to watch and see how their personalities evolve.

Been for lots of walks and ate all his tea
He wouldn’t sleep in the kitchen so slept up stairs oops ????

We had the kind offer of a foster home and I snapped it for the gorgeous Lee. He sadly seems so upset in kennels and barks but if out, he stands by your side and is so good.
I am hoping he is going to be a good boy and enjoy his foster home.

Lovely Lee came for another long walk with me today. He is such a happy and friendly boy. He tries to say hello to everyone and laps up any fuss he can get. We met quite a few small dogs today and at one point he was surrounded by 3 small fluffies. He stood looking from one to the next genuinely confused. He didn't react to them at all, but I think he just couldn't understand why they were standing looking at him rather than running away from him for him to chase. He also had a couple of small fluffies stand and bark at him. Again, there was no reaction. He likes a brisk oace , which is perfect for me. Such a fab boy x

Handsome Lee came for a lovely long walk with me today. I was asked to wear him out and I did my very best!! We walked for 2.5 hours and he loved every minute of it. He was quite strong to start with, but calmed down virtually as soon as we left the kennels. He was alert thoughtful walk, but he was fine with all the dogs we met. He was a great walking companion and here's hoping that he doesn't have to wait long for his forever home xx
