Updated: Monday 10 Jul

We meet from 10.30am for a 11.00am start.

The walk of approximately 1 hour will usually take us near the river and across the racecourse.

If weather conditions prevent this a dry walk along paved areas usually takes place.  Only in really extreme conditions would the walk not take place.

Please check the website if conditions are extreme as details will always be updated.

A fund raising raffle will be held before the walk and refreshments provided on our return.

Sad news received today that long standing veteran of innumberable Stratford awareness events and walks over the last 7 years Dermot has passed over Rainbow Bridge at the grand age of 14. Condolences to co Stratford Walk organiser Sue but she can retain many happy memories of a lovely laid back lad whose wonderful temperament encouraged many people we met at our events to offer a home to other homeless hounds.

Many thanks to all who came on the walk today and to Sally and Sue for their usual hard work in organising the walk. Your efforts are always appreciated.
Ronny, Jayto and Fudge joined 22 other dogs and hoomans on the walk. All 3 dogs will make wonderful family pets when finally finding their forever homes.
